Is there a height and age requirement?
To ride alone, riders must be at least 48” tall AND 9 years of age.

My child is 48” although s/he is not 9 years of age. Can s/he race?
Yes, however since they do not meet the age requirement, we offer tandems (double carts) which they can ride along with someone who is a minimum of 18 years of age.

Is there a maximum weight limit for the karts?
The maximum weight our karts are designed to operate under is 300 pounds.

Do I need to wear any special shoes to race?
Closed toe shoes are mandatory.

Are there any other safety considerations I must follow?
Long hair must be tied back in a ponytail. You should make sure your seatbelt is securely fastened at all times. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the track area and drivers who are intoxicated will not be allowed to drive. Swiping or bumping into other karts will result in you being asked to leave the race.

Will I be able to race with a medical condition or disability?
We do not recommend go-karting for drivers who have a known history of heart problems, vertigo or epilepsy, or any other medical condition that will be affected by speed or stress.
